Stop automatic text resizing

D

Dave

How do I stop text from resizing within a slide? I typically have 2-3 font
sizes within a slide to indicate different notes or commenters. When I begin
to edit a slide, all of the text changes to some ginormous font size, which
forces me to edit the font sizes back to what I want. What do I change to
make the font sizes stay as they are? I am using PP 2003.

TIA,
Dave

Bill -

That did not solve the problem. If I copy a bullet item from slide 3 and
paste it on slide 2, the text still resizes to a very large font size. Do
you have any other suggestions?

TIA,

Before pasting text, right click on the text box and select Set as Default.

Pasted text will now be the same size as the existing text in that box.

Are you pasting into a placeholder (where it says "click to add text") or
are you pasting into a regular, "manual" textbox?
