I have a Dell XPS I am trying to reinstall xp pro on. The installation
goes fine, but when windows attempts to load, I get the XP splash
screen immediately followed by the BSOD 7b with 0xbacc3524 as the
first parameter. Any ideas? I have tried several 7b error fixes, but
can find only a couple items with the bacc3524 problem and they didn't
seem relevant to my situation. The system has a sata 250gb drive.

Any and all help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Replace the power supply with a stronger one, say over 450 watts and
make sure it has a fan at the bottom.
