Stop 0X24

Hi, I attempted to install a Nvidia GEforece 2 video card -
the instructions state to uninstall current VGA drivers,
so I did so , installed the card, attempted to install the
drivers for the provided CD - states drivers already
installed, I continued with the install of the drivers,
rebooted and come to a STOP 0X00000024. I can't get into
safe mode, I get disk errors and then back to the 0x24
error. Any ideas how to pursue, I dont have the XP install
disk but did create the 6 floppys reccommended by
microsoft. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!

What had to be done - get a XP install disk go to repair
console and issue a CHKDSK /R and sstem will come back up.
What I do with my new vid acrd is up in the air.
