STOP 0x000000CA during setup

Hi,

during installation of Windows XP Home I got STOP:
0x000000CA error in blue screen. The screen says something
about Plug 'n Play (the text is supposingly in
Russian, 'cos I'm installing Russian version, but it's in
wrong encoding so I can't read anything).

I don't know what to do, because 6 months ago I installed
WinXP on this machine successfully, and hardware didn't
change since then.

Any suggestions? Please...

Open your BIOS setup program to select the "non-Plug and Play operating system"
option. This advice may seem counterintuitive-after all, Windows XP is indeed
a Plug and Play operating system. However, this setting was intended for use with
earlier Windows versions, and if it's set incorrectly it can prevent the Windows XP
boot loader from accessing devices at startup.

Have you tried to boot into safe mode?

Also, there should be some parameters displayed with the Stop Code, those
should help you along with a core dump to determine the faultinig driver.
