Still says Invalid password

I tried giving BIOS set-up administrator password,
alternatively and a blank password (just enter) and
Windows XP home edition password in Recovery Console, but
it says invalid admin password and after 3 times the
system gets restarted, can you please provide me info to
overcome this.

I think you need the password when you first setup XP, not your
current administrator's account. If you lost it, sorry...I have no
idea
