Still freezing....

Hi,

Are we the only one or are people simply giving up?
When copying files from one disk to another, it stays on:
"Calculating time remaining..." for days...although we don't wait that long!

This happens even after the famous SP1!!!

I have a printscreen of this in case Microsoft don't believe us.

Any NEWER solution than the SP1?

When copying files over an external device, it stays on "Calculating
time..." and never copies.

SP1 is done and did not fix this at all. My temporary solution is to
install VMWare and to install XP PRO on it. Then we can copy our files.

So if Vista cannot copy files to external devices what is the point in
installing this in ANY computers? Just so it looks nice and makes more money
for your daddy?

Solutions people, that's what we want!

And Mr. Amendall, if you don't know to who I'm speaking then maybe you
should take an english course or cultural behaviorism course.

Sincerely,

Mario Perazzelli
And spare us your little wise guy comments, we're not paying you to make fun
of us.....employee!

I have no problems copying or moving files here.

Maybe there's a fault with your external drive, or the driver installed for
it?
