It removed several spyware issues including the ability
to change my default homepage and search engine. But
after I'm online once and close it - the next time I open
the Internet up I have an unwanted homepage and search
engine again. In otherwrods this program is cleaning it
up (when I scan for it) but it comes back each time I get
online. Any suggestions?

Sysinternals has a program for showing everything that
runs at bootup that is slightly friendlier than the MS
version included with the OS (At least, I find it so :) )

Anyway, hit their site and download the autoruns.exe and
take a look at what is happening and loading when your
machine boots. Probably, there is a program there that
calls for something to load at boot that resets your home
page and redirects your search engine. And Robear is
correct, if somewhat terse :) - you will still want to
run a variety of tools including the old standbys of
adaware and spybot etc.
