My home page keeps changing

Hi, whenever I go online, regardless of the sites I visit, someone or something keeps changing my homepage to a site resembling some sort of search engine. Not offensive in itself, but it's a bit cheeky and starting to annoy me. How do I stop it?

all spyware and hijackers are offensive. spybot at
safer-networking.org ,update ,scan on easy ,immunize ,block
bad pages and the advanced allows you to lock out the home
page being changed as well as intenet explorer settings can
be locked out.plus has backups incase some program stops
working after spywares removal.

free popup blocker from google at toolbar.google.com
(basic install).
free firewall at zonelabs.com
free antivirus at grisoft.com

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

**Post your HijackThis log to

Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder
may be found on this page:

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
