I know that some of you use Steam, so just in case anyone has missed this, they have a holiday sale going on at the moment, with very big savings on "Deals for Today" which change each day, after the countdown timer thingy reaches zero.

Quick example: Grand Theft Auto IV £4.99. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. £1.39, etc. As I type the counter is at 32:06, so presumably the daily offer will switch in half an hour's time.

http://store.steampowered.com/

Help! I sound like a spammer, lol. However, this is a busy time, so some might not have seen the offer.:D

Grand Theft Auto IV is a steal at a fiver :thumb:

A warning: don't buy Mirror's Edge - it's absolute tosh, I found out the hard way and got shot of it a bit quick.

I sold my GTA4 on ebay a while ago, am tempted to get it again for that price. :)

Even Mirrors Edge for £3.24 is worth a bash, though i tried the demo off PSN and didn't get on with it.

Oh no it's not. If there's one game I would nominate for truly naff, Mirror's Edge is it. It has the most user unfriendly interface I've ever encountered and makes Daikatana look like Best Game Of The Decade ;)

I only paid a tenner for GTAIV at Morrisons supermarket shortly after it was released so I'm quite content with that.

But I like Marmite

I knew I shouldn't have browsed that list...

Bought the revamped version of Secret Of Monkey Island and Braid for the combined princely sum of £5.23.

Both old school but I've always wanted to play that Monkey Island game, I can remember borrowing it from a friend but I couldn't get the sound to work on my 386 or 486, whatever I had at the time.

Some great bargains there, I've picked up a few things including STALKER and Sniper Elite. Absolute stonking bargains.

BioShock is worth picking up for a few quid too!
