Status Bar

When I have a browser open and then type "ctrl+n" to open
a new browser, the new one does not have a status bar.

How can I get a new browser to have a status bar when I
type "ctrl+n" without doing it manually?

I am not talking about opening a browswer from the
desktop - only when I use the keyboard shortcut to open a
new browser.

Thanks!
