Startup/shutdown

When I turn my computer on and get online I'm getting a error message that says: The data required by HP is still engaged by another user. Try shutting down the other session. I click to shutdown the other session but it fails
I completely close and turn the computer off and restart it and the same thing comes up. When I go to task manager,
it tells me no other probrams are running.

problem #2 I'm also getting a error message when I'm shutting down that says windows cannot close ccApp.exe or something like that it tells me that closing this program will lose any unsaved data. Is there a list anywhere of what programs a computer has to have to startup? I know programs startup that I don't need but don't know which ones I can disable. Thaniks

Hi,

ccApp.exe is a program which is part of Norton Antivirus 2004.
Try to boot in Safe Mode (hitting the F8 key repeatedly while booting
Windows), uninstall NAV and see if the problems are solved.

If this is the cause of the problem, you might want to contact
Symantec and get support from them.

Good luck
