start-up problem

When I turn on my computer, it now goes automatically to "Microsoft Windows
Recovery Console." This started a few days ago and I don't know why. It used
to go directly to Windows. Any one know how I can get it properly configured?

Go into recovery,type:Fixboot Agree,type:CHKDSK C: /p After,type:EXIT
Let xp start up.

Sorry, I am not as proficient as you. How do I go into recovery? I appreciate
