start up problem

When windows loads..I get 4 "box" messages about inablity to locate certain
documents/files..says to remove from registry...Having no other operating
problems but this is annoying

What's the detailed error message?
Try this first:
1. Click Start->Run, type regedit in the dialog box and click OK.
2. In the registry editor, navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run,
3. In the right pane, check if there are any weird startup items.
