start toolbar on left corder of screen display

My start tool bar now appears on top left corner of display screen. When I
click on start toolbar, as ususal, I can see programs to choose from. I do
not know what has happened to My Sony notebook. The screen display is
converted from its normal display to an awkward one where my start toolbar
and the icones that usually appear on the bottomright hand of display are now
move to bottom left corner of screen. Can anyone have any idea to fix this
problem ?

Put the mouse pointer on an empty part of the taskbar.
Hold down the left mouse button and drag the taskbar to where you want it.
