Hello,

Can anyone help ? I need to set up an ssh server on windows XP Home. I
tried many diffrent servers and no one of them works. For egzample, with
some servers, it is not even possible to install them, and on diffrent
ones you can install them and make them running, but it is impossible to
log on remotely.

Maybe there is some way to make it work properly, possibly a hack, or
maybe an alternative SSH server that runs on XP Home ? Please help.

I've used cygwin with openssh installed on it....

but i think your problem lies with the firewall.

Make sure you have port 22 open under the firewall exceptions.
(under network properties)
