Spyware removal

Does anyone have a preference as to which one of the spyware removal programs is the best? I have used Spybot but it doesn't seem to find them all. I downloaded XoftSpy but all it does is scan and you have to purchase it. I prefer Free something I can trust

I usually use both Spybot Search & Destroy *and* the free version of
Ad-aware from www.lavasoftusa.com. They do seem to complement each
other. You need to update both programs before running them, and I like
to scan in Safe Mode because that foils most of the malware programs
that would normally be resident in memory.

Lavasoft Adware works well (www.lavasoft.de I think) You should use
both Spybot and Adware together because what one misses, the other can
pick up.
