Spyware Problem

I ran Beta Spyware (many times) and it identifies the following file for
removal "SearchExtender Spyware" and I have it removed. The problem I have is
it continuely comes back. I just can't seem to get rid of it.

I have tried Adware as well and everything looks okay but continuely comes
back.

Plus, used the feature to restore default settings (In Spyware) but
continuely changes my home page to "about:blank".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

1) Open up AntiSpyware
2) Click Tools at the top
3) Click "Submit a Suspected Spyware Report"
4) Fill out the form with as much detail so they can anªlyze quickly.

Have you tried Mcrosoft Antispyware, preferably while running in safe mode?

If running XP, go to c:\windows\prefetch and delete the entire contents of
the folder, but not the folder itself. Make certain to empty your Recycle
Bin BEFORE launching any other apps. If some files are in use, boot into
Safe Mode (press F8 before initial Windows screen during boot/reboot, press
F8 again if neccessary to get to the Advanced Options screen, and choose the
Safe Mode line that only states Safe Mode) and delete the files and empty the
Recycle Bin.

It's safe to delete these files, as they are only used to speed up the
launching of applications. Some infections place code there that causes the
infection to respawn itself after the infection has been removed.
