spyware problem

i have what i think is spyware on my computer which is
causing some of my programs to behave bizarrely, i.e.
programs move and/or resize themselves, preferences
although remembered correctly in the preferences menu, do
not behave accordingly and icons mysteriously
disappear/reappear in my system tray on startups. Have ran
Ad-Aware, Spybot, Anti Spyware, HijackThis, and others to
no avail. Did a reinstall of windows as well. I am
STUMPED. anyone have any ideas???

Windows does it automatically every night, also i hsve gone
through the site manually looked for updates myself.
Furthermore, now certain windows (such as task manager)
will appear in the taskbar when opened, however does not
appear on the desktop, except when the window is fully
maximized (if not, the window does not appear at all).
Despite the randomness of these problems, i do believe,
from my own figuring, that this is all caused by some
common denominator.
