Spyware not all removed

On one of my computers the AntiSpyware is not removing all
of the detected spyware. It finds it, labels it to be
removed, goes through the process of removing the spyware,
but then when I reboot the spyware is still there. Running
the AntiSpyware program again finds all of the same
spyware which it then removes again.

I have the latest updates. Can anyone point me to a fix
for this?

Thanks

Restart in safe mode, open Microsoft AntiSpyware, on the scan page, choose
scan options > full system scan (check boxes below) > click "Run Scan Now".

Also run these thirdparty AntiSpyware utilities in safe mode:
Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://www.intermute.com/products/cwshredder.html
Spy Sweeper - www.webroot.com
Ccleaner - http://www.ccleaner.com

What spyware is it finding?

Are you launching another program before you reboot the
system?

I'm having the same problem. I don't get why I have to
run a third party application to remove spyware that
Microsoft says they can handle with this Beta Version.
Hopefully they come out with a true solution soon so I
don't keep having this problem.

Thank,

Dave

Haven't met a spyware removal program yet that got
everything on it's own. I have always run more than one
to clean a truly dirty computer.

OK, Andre, I followed the instructions. I downloaded
every spyware tool that I could get and the reg cleaner.
I ran everything in safe mode. But, none of the tools can
remove these two items:

1. Startup.NameShifter.BK
2. Transponder ABetterInternet

How do I make these go away? I am just about ready to
wipe the disk and rebuild this computer. :)
