spyware infected explorer

George

I have a spyware problem, and am using Ad-aware and a
watchful eye to try and combat it. Now, my internet
explorer won't let me surf onto any password sites
(hotmail, my school email, etc.) - what is the problem?
I've reinstalled IE6 (it didn't work in the old version
either.) Any suggestions?

There's a lot more to try here:
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
