Spyware Blaster installation...?

Yesterday I installed this product exactly as I was instructed. Had no
problems installing it, but now I have 2 Icons on my desktop, the original
install one, and the one that U access to do updates etc. I tried to delete
the install one like I did after downloading Spybot, but then I couldn't
access my Nortons Protected recycle bin, kept getting a message not valid. I
went into the recyling bin thru windows and recovered it and then everything
worked fine. Are there suppose to be 2 Icons on my desktop, or did I do
something wrong?

I am not having any problems running either of the programs, yet very
curious why the install Icon is staying. If I click on it, all it does is ask
me if I want to run or save it, so I know it is not the one I need for doing
updates etc. I have a Compaq XP with Nortons SP1 and 2, all definitions are
totally up to date, as is windows from Microsoft. Did a complete Nortons scan
and it is fine. If U can give me any input as to what I am experiencing, I
appreciate it. I feel like a total computer dummy, but I am definitely NOT
computer savvy.
