SPSS 'Aggregate'

I've been asked to try and streamline a complicated process that some
people are using to process data.

Part of their current process is to open their Excel file in a program
called SPSS and use the 'Aggregate' function. Then take those values
straight back into Excel.

Does anyone know that this SPSS Aggregate thing is? And would it be
possible for Excel to do it so that everything could be done in the one
program?

Did you go to Google and search for SPSS and aggregate? I just did, and got
many hits, including a tutorial.

Sounds to me like something that could possibly be done with a Pivot Table in
Excel.

Thanks Myrna, I found similar myself. I just thought I'd ask to make
sure I was looking at the right thing.
