spreadsheet embedded into Outlook Task: where is it really?

users. ya gotta love em. how do they come up with this stuff?

one of my favorite users, who is heavily reliant on Tasks, actually has a
few where there is a spreadsheet attached to the task.

the problem is she lost a bunch of data out of one of those spreadsheets and
want to go to an older version but how? the spreasheet is still in the Task,
but has been overwritten with a but of data lost.

where is that spreadsheet and can the spreadsheet be restored? We are using
Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003.

it's all fun and games until some one loses an eye.

thanks for any help you can offer.

If it is "inserted" in the Task, then when opened they are opening the
spreadsheet that sits within the Task. If it's a "hyperlink" to a
spreadhseet in the Task, they are opening the spereadsheet in it's drive
location.
