Windows XP SPOOLSV.EXE

Hello,

My computer is infected with a worm called SPOOLSV.EXE, I run Windows 2000.

At the moment it only blocks my printer and fax machine, is there any way I can get rid of it?

I have used Norton 2005 and also Xoftspy spyware and none of both seems to work.

Please any help will be much appreciated.

Try running the online anti virus scanner here : https://www.pcreview.co.uk/antivirus it may remove it for you.

How do you know its definitely a worm?

spoolsv.exe is a legit process for windows 2000.

as ian said what makes you think it's a worm?
