spell check in email signature?

We are also having this spellcheck issue, in that we want text in the top and
bottom of our signature, but when you type in the middle the text is set to
'do not check spelling/grammar'. Our example is at the top we want to say job
reference name/number and attention to, and then at the bottom want to say
from...etc. So therefore we want to type in the middle. Has anyone found a
solution to this (I see the question has been asked since the beginning of
2006)?

Don't abuse the signature feature for inserting blocks of text. Use AutoText
or Quick Parts for this instead.

The signature style is set to not use spell check. It's not broken. You
could try changing the style or find a better way to do boiler plate text -
if under 255 characters, use autocorrect. You don't mention the version of
outlook, but if 2003, autotext for larger blocks and quick parts for 2007.
If you always use the same text, create a template.
