You are using a 'trial' version of the software. You need to purchase the
software. If you have already purchased the software then you have either
not inputted the correct product code, not inputted a code at all, or else
put in a wrong product code.

Incidentally, it I wise never disclose your true email address in the
newsgroups you will only be bombarded with spam.

After creating a new email when I click on the Spell check icon I receive the
following pop up window error.

"This language is no longer available for spell checking. Please select
another in the spelling options dialog"

I went to Tools > Options > Spelling

English was already chosen, so something was not working.

I resolved my issue by reselecting english and applying the change, this
worked!

Hi.
I just bought a laptop with vista and encounterd the same thing.
I'm new to computers and from europe, so a spell-check would benefit me
greatly.
Can you guide me through it step by step so that dumb me could understand it

Windows Mail comes with the default language for spelling checks partly set
to English, but not enough to work. Tocorrect this, start Windows Mail,
click
on Tools, then Options, then Spelling, then the triangle to the right of
English,
then some other language, then Apply, then the triangle again, then English,
then Apply again. If you want to check spelling in all outgoing messages,
and
there's no checkmark in the box before Always check spelling before sending,
click on this box, then Apply. Click on OK.

If you only want to check spelling in some of the outgoing messages, start
these messages as usual, but just before you click Send, click on the ABC
checkmark.

'Thank you' Nice One Glen
One thing that I suppose many people have don is to try what you suggest
when they are in the middle or finished writing, then tried to do as you
suggest on the page they are writing it wont work! You have to go to the main
page and click Tool/Options /spelling then reclick English this will work

Thanks, Glen. This fix worked, but a previous posting also mentioned to do
this fix in the main email page , not in a new email page. I clicked on
options >tools>spelling>english, then Apply, and VOILA ! It worked. Thanks.

Hey thanks Glen. At first I did look for your info in the new email I was
writing and could not find the options button. Then I tried it in the in box
and found it there. Thanks again.

You were probably on the wrong screen when you clicked on Tools.
You need to be in the main screen of Windows Mail, not the compose screen.

people around ( wish I was one of them .. ;-) ....)

Ray, click on the 'option' icon on the home page of your windows mail. You'll
see the 'spell' option there. I did the same thing trying to do a spell
check on an e-mail I had already created but it's not there it's on the home
page.
