Spell Check does not work in Office Ultimate 2007

I can not get spell check to reconize any spelling mistakes. Grammer works
but no misspeled words are reconized. I have read all the post on this
subject and have no answer. Please help.

I found the following in the Publisher section of the discussion groups and
it solved the problem and saved the day. Thank you Mary very much.


From Office Newsgroup
a. Close Publisher and any other open applications.
b. Click on Start | Run | Open: regedit .
c. If the key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared
Tools\Proofing Tools\1.0\Override" exists, delete it.
d. Exit regedit.
e. Restart your computer.

I have the same problem, HOWEVER, the reg key ..."override" is not there.
What now?

Office Button >Word Options > Add Ins > Manage (select disabled items) >
Click on the English dictionary and re-enable it.
Close and re-open Word and Outlook.
