Spell check not working?

I posted earlier 2 questions only one was answered can you help me with this
spell check question please. I have trouble shot so far... Tools
menu>options>spelling & grammer tab everything is properly checked their. I
checked MSN for a possible update, nothing, I rebooted hoping for a
possible glitch, nothing, can you help why spell check won't work?? I keep
getting a Macro message saying Macro was disabled. could this have anything
to do with the spell check not working??
