speed of games

i have a new pc & broadband..i like to play online games on yahoo or real
arcade etc, but most of the time when im playing them they just slow down &
make it impossible to play. anybody got any thoughts on why please?

We would need more information to even make a guess. For starters: What
game? What are the specs for your computer? CPU? RAM? Video card? Video Ram?
What type of broadband? ADSL? Cable? Is it a "light" option?
