spam? vs not spam

I have several emails go directly into my deleted mail
box because outlook thinks its spam. How do i tell it
that this isnt spam (like on AOL you just push one button
that says *this isnt spam*)
I cant find where to do this for Outlook express.
thanks
Please also reply to
(e-mail address removed) as I may not find my way back here =)

Are you using Outlook or Outlook Express? If Outlook, which version of
Outlook? What antispam addin are you using? While there isn't a button
that says "this isn't spam", Outlook 2003 lets you make messages as not
junk when you use the junk mail filter.

MicroSoft Outlook Express 6.0
I use XP and have *filtered* some words out---like porn
and insurance quote---but the ones going into my deleted
mail arent anything close to that....its stuff from
paypal, ebay and friends.

This is very much what I was asking in a different thread. I'm using
Outlook 2000. I've followed your advice and set up a rule using the
rules wizard to override Outlook's conviction that anything with the
word "advertisement" in the subject field is spam.

For reference, I did this by Tools - Rules Wizard - Check messages when
they arrive -- with specific words in the subject -- move it to the
specified folder (i.e. inbox) -- no exceptions to the rule.

This seems to work but it's quite a performance!

Is there a simpler way to do it? Quite seriously, I'm a great fan of
Outlook but it strikes me that rather than writing these rules all the
time it's easier just to use a third party product for filtering mail
before it gets to Outlook.
