spaces between words

I am using word 2002 - it seems to automatically insert
some extra spaces between some words - is there a way of
turning this off so that the spaces between words are
even (I am not right justifying the text)

Hi (e-mail address removed),

Give us some examples, please?

I can't give you an actual example because if I cut and
paste into this reply it re formats and the extras spaces
disappear but it would look like this (ie there are
some extra spaces between look and like in the line above

thanks

So, this is not occurring only with specific words, but at
random? If it's always the same sets of words, I'd look for
AutoCorrect entries.

If it's totally random, then things get very uncertain.
FWIW, the behavior is not something that is built into Word
2002; I've never heard about this happening before.

Do you also see the spaces when you print out? Or in the
Normal view?

We've seen a lot of reports of this in word.printingfonts, and it usually
turns out to be a printer driver problem. Try updating the printer driver
from the manufacturer's Web site.

this occurs on the screen and when I print out - I don't
think it's anything to do with autocorrect as i can
delete them one by one and they don't re-appear
thanks
