SP4 and TSAC clients

I just applied W2K SP4 to 2K Pro boxes that were running SP2 and SP3. Now I
find that several of theses TSAC clients could not connect to to the
Terminal Server (SP4), with an 'error on page' error. To fix this I deleted
the RDP client control file in C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files. When the
client then tries to connect, it downloads another ActiveX file from the TS
and it works fine. Whats up with this? Thanks in advance!

I have a similar situation. After having loaded several MS
security patches as well as SP4. My RDP clients (WBT as
well as PCs running the RDP client ) cannot login to my
Windows 2000 Terminal Server.
I can reconfig my WBT to run the Citrix ICA client an
login to the Terminal Server with no problem.

Do you think that by deleting the C:\winnt\Downloaded
Program Files\Microsoft Terminal Services Control
(redist)
my problem will be fixed?

It cant hurt. The RDP clients will just download another from the TS.
