SP2 wont open

i have recently downloaded the install file for SP2
which took around 3 hrs
and to make things worse on opening it windows decides it wont open it
aparently this executable file isnt a valid Win32 file
i have checked for viruses with advast [dont know its relability]
and other .exe files work fine
i need this file so sugesting windows update wont help me
anyone have any sugestions?

Your download failed and you didn't know it.

- Why SP2?
- Why not SP3?
- What speed Internet do you have?
- Do you have friends/family/neighbors/co-workers with faster Internet
access?
- Do you have any of the previously listed that might be willing to download
something and burn it to CD or put it on a thumb drive from you?
