Are you sure they're plugged into the correct jack?
Have you looked in Device Manager under Sound, Video and Game Controllers to
verify your sound device is installed and has no conflicts?
Does your sound device show in Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Audio
tab as the preferred device?

the device manager but i couldnt find it ,

Right click MyComputer.
Click Properties > Hardware tab > Device manager button.

or when in Control Panel double click the System applet.
Click Hardware tab > device Manager button.

i did try " Does your sound

line playback the first one is selected .

I don't know for sure, but intel ( r ) Integrated audio doesn't seem right.
My thoughts at this time is the software for the integrated audio isn't
installed.
Can you please provide:
Computer manufacturer, make/model.
Motherboard manufacturer make/model.
Chip manufacturer make/model.

The best way to get any information needed:
Everest Home Edition(Free):
http://www.lavalys.com/products.php?lang=en

Create a new folder named Everest and extract the contents of the download to
that folder.
Open the folder and double-click everest.exe to run the application.

If you are not sure what next step to take, other than downloading/installing
from the manufacturers support site.
Click the + next to Computer.
Click Summary.
On the menu bar click Report > Quick Report-Summary > Plain text.
Save to your desktop and close Everest.

Open the report on the desktop.
Delete everything from Debug on down to the bottom of the page and save.
Press CTRL+A to select all.
Press CTRL+C to copy and close out.
Open a response in this thread and press CTRL+V to paste.
Post the results in a response to this thread.

Unfortunately Intel doesn't provide your audio drivers for other brand
motherboards, even if their chip is used.
Check out Dells support site for drivers specific to your machine.
You can start here:
http://support.dell.com/support/index.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs
or here:
http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&~ck=mn

On another side, did you get a Resource CD with computer? If so, you could
reinstall the audio drivers from it. Do not use any Recovery/Operating CD
provided, it is used to reinstall the OS.

If you do not have a Resource CD, you could try booting to Safe Mode.
Remove any/all sound devices listed in Device Manager under Sound, Video and
Game Controllers.
Close out back to the desktop and reboot.
Windows should redetect/reinstall the device.

Before doing any of the above:
Click Start > Run, type in: dxdiag and press Enter.
Once open click the Sound tab and run the tests to determine any problems if
any.
