Sound Schemes

I am having trouble with the sound schemes. I have
windows default chosen and there are no sounds for any of
the events. I have MSN Messenger 6.0 (not windows
messenger) and the sounds won't work for it either even
though sounds are assigned to the events that I want to
have sounds. The sounds assigned to events in Incredimail
and Quicken work fine. The sound for playing Cd's etc
works fine as well. Any idea what might be wrong? Thanks
in advance.

Did you try the System Restore? Goto Start-All Programs-
Accessories-System Tools-System Restore. Give it a shot.
