sound problems

Is there a way that the sound will come out of the computer speakers? It
seems to only work when I attach headphones to my computer. I did the test
for microphone volume and everything works when the headphones are plugged
in. In addition, the playback through the headphones is low. Is there anyone
that can help me? I have a parent presentation at school tomorrow.

It seems like a driver problem or configuration problem to me. Could you
double check your audio hardware configuration?
