Sorting with Hyperlinks

Hi,

I'm sorting columns tnat contain hyperlinks within a
worksheet, which is somehow changing the reference
address. Some of the hyperlinks are changing and refering
to the wrong address.

I've manually made changes by right-clicking the cell,
pointing to the Hyperlink on the shortcut menu, and then
clicking 'Edit Hyperlink'. The address is being corrected,
for the time being. Is there a way to 'fix' the reference
addresses so that any time a sort is completed, I don't
have to make manual changes?

Thanks,
Shayla

Shayla,

Please post an example of what you're talking about. While we wait, this
might help: a $ before the column or row part of a cell reference will
ensure that the reference does not change when a formula is copied or moved
to other cells.

For example: A1, $A1, A$1, $A$1 are all the same reference, but all react
differently when copied/moved up/down/left/right. Not that the same is true
if the reference is Sheet1!A1, Sheet1!$A1, Sheet1!A$1, Sheet1!$A$1.
