Does enybody know how to make work the mavica cd 1000 with windows xp? Because I can't get it to work with my computer.

Can't you remove the CD from the camera
and insert it in your computer's CD drive?
The tray should have a depression that the
smaller CD will fit in.

What you need to do is to set the camera's USB Connect mode to PTP, plug the
USB cable into the computer and the drivers will automatically be installed.
Then power on your camera and the Scanners and Camera Wizard will assist you
on transfering your photos. For more info, follow this handy tutorial from

It dosen't work. When I hook up the camera with the USB cable and I turn it on it give me the fallowing
"A CD-recording driver is installed that might cause stability problems, including problems shutting down and problems using a CD/DVD drive. This driver will be disabled.
This driver might have been installed by Easy CD Creator, Windows Media Player or RealJukebox. You might not be able to record CDs until you obtain compatible drivers.
