sony dwu 14a

i just purchased a sony dwu 14a dvd writer .not knowing that it came without any software. I installed it but my system did not detect the drive.The device appears to be connected as it opens and closes:crazy: how do find drivers for it and make it work

if it didn't detect the drive then s/w won't make any different, need more details on system, but if your using windows it will usually detect new devices on boot up, double check that you've connected the drive correctly and you have the jumpers set correctly.
