Somhow all my folder icon changed?

Somehow all of my standard yellow folder icons have been all changed to
a yellow folder with a white and blue widows dialouge window laying
over the corner of the standard yellow icon.

All I want is my regular folder icons back. I figured out how to change
it for a folder one at time, but how do I restore the standard folder
icons for all folders. I am somewhat of a novica nd hep would be
appreacieated.

Thanks for the info --but I do not know what to do with the link you
sent. I went to the page and clicked on it and it opened up a white
page with a whole bunch of code. Could you help me understand what to
do.

Also, this is my first time posting here. How do I easily find areas
where I made posts so I can go back and read your response. Right now I
have to click on the group that I subscribed to and search down for my
post. I thought there was a way to "see all my posts".

OK I found out how to get to my posts.

I was having trouble downloading your application in Firefox. I used IE
and it downloaded. I ran it and it said things were added to my
registry. But now what do I do. By the way I am the only "user" on my
home XP machine with this folder issue.

Hi there Merk,

A quick reboot should take care of it. If the problem still persists, and
it's user specific, you may want to try creating a new User Account for
yourself and moving everything to that. Sometimes profiles can get corrupted
and cause different kinds of issues.
