Default icons for Documents folder

Hi

So that I can share files with my Linux operating system, I changed my
default location of Documents, Pictures, Music and Videos to a FAT32
partition on my computer. However the default blue tinted icons are replaced
by yellow ones. Although when I clicked "Restore Defaults" in the icon folder
the Music folder got its icon back, the trick did not work for the other
three folders. I cannot see these default icons when I click "Change Icon".

Any help will be deeply appreciated.
Thanks

Make the folders read-only using the attrib command.

I surely do want to write on these folders. This was precisely the reason I
moved them onto a FAT partition.

You can still write to the folders. If you actually want the user shell
folder icons back, do as I said.

Hi

First of all, thanks to both of you for you help.

@Brink: Link is not accessible. Any alternate ways to access the knowledge
base you want to point to?

@Synapse Syndrome: I tried your suggestion (making folders ro) but that did
not help.

Thanks Brink and Ramesh. The trick worked. I logged off and logged back in
and my shell folder icons are back. I also understand why this happened. My
desktop.ini was modified by the process of "cut" "paste" from one partition
to the other.

Once again thanks to both of you.
