Some Web Pages Come Up in French

My company recently "refreshed" our computers and now certain websites come
up in other languages, namely French on my computer. If I type in
"www.hotels.com" into the address bar, the page always redirects to
fr.hotels.com - google and yahoo do the same thing. Most other webpages seem
to be fine and they pull up in English as expected. My IE language setting
in Internet Options is set to English and there are no other languages
listed. I've tried re-installing IE6, but this doesn't seem to help. Any
ideas?

Hi,

This may be a result of geographical location or proxy
usage. Specifically, some sites tailor their content
depending on where you seem to be originating from.

You may want to confirm that you are not using a proxy
server, or, if you are using a company computer, that the
server proxy settings are correct.

Regards,

Altrus
