Why is document Readability statistics in French?

When I check the grammer and spelling of a word document, the "Readability
Statistics" window's contents are in French? I have the Dictionary and
grammar set for English. Also my MS Office Language Settings 2007 primary
Editing Language set to English (US)

If you turn off "Detect language automatically" in Review tab | Set Language
and then verify that all text is in fact formatted in English, does that fix
the problem?
