Solution KB835732 -> Disable IPSec Service in System-Services... worked for me

Martin Maurer

Hint taken from http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=841382

I have disabled the IPSec Service in System-Services and now i can boot
again in normal time.
Reenabling the service brings my error back. So i think i must disable the
service to use my PC at the moment.

Disadvantage of this is, that my VPN access is then not working anymore,
because it needs this service...

Martin

Is also discovered that disabling this service did the trick for me. Simply
unistalling the hotfix addressed in MS04-011 still gave me extremely high
CPU utilization and the box (used as a Citrix server) required rebooting at
least twice a day. Disabling this service reduced the CPU utilization some
(not back to normal though) but the box has now been running more than 24
hours without locking up which is the first time in over a week I've had
that fortune.
