Software that is not completely installed.

My Dell PC is becoming unstable. I've received an error
message that says:

Microsoft Windows 2000 has detected software that is not
completely installed on your computer. Windows 2000 Setup
cannot continue until you finsih installing the software.

To finish the installation process for this software

1. Quit Windows 2000 Setup.
2. Log off of your computer and then log back on again.
3. After you long on, a program will start immedateily;
allow it to complete [THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN.]
4. Restart Windows 2000 Setup.

Since 3. above is not working, what file do I need to
double click to initiate 3?

This all started happening when I downloaded a driver
update from Microsoft for my video card. NVIDIA Media
Center, I'm guessing is messing up Windows.

Thank you.
