software conflict with XP

Since I installed XP, my Quattro Pro (Corel Wordperfect)
program does not function. A reduced version comes up on
the screen and it locks my computer. The word processor
portion of the program works fine.
I uninstalled Wordperfect and re-installed it but it did
not solve the problem. Any help would be most
appreciated.

Mary, you need to be MUCH more specific, as there are at least 6
different versions of Qpro that you could be running. There are some
issues with QPro 7 under XP, for example, that can be worked around.

If you don't know what version & service pack you have, open WP instead
and use Help/About and note the number in full, and post that back here.

Also you can post directly to corel groups, where you are likely to get
more effective assistance on this since it is their software. Subscribe
to the server cnews.corel.com and you will see groups for all versions
of Qpro.
