So who ami I?

O

OceanView

I create a database, create a workgroup, then it tells *me* I don't have
permission to bla blah blah. I didn't login when I created the database, so
who am I? Is is using the windows login userid? And how do I find out
programatically?

Thanks!

If you don't log in you are "Admin". When security is done properly "Admin" has
no permissions. Sounds like you chose the option to have Access create a
shortcut for your secured app and you are not using it. Failure to do so means
you use the wrong workgroup.
