I created a VBA routine to output a number of Access
reports into a .snp format. The routine ouputs 4 reports
and then gives me an error that I don't have enough
temporary space to finish writing the snapshot reports. Is
there a way around this error?

In most cases where this error has been reported an illegal character
was being generated for the filename or the user was trying to write the
Snapshots to a folder where they did not have Write permission.
