Snapshot Viewer Download Removed?

I have a very large number of reports that are distributed through the
snapshot format in Access. What happened to the snapshot viewer from
Microsoft? The download says that it's been removed! What's the deal?

I don't know what the deal is, but was informed that it has been removed
"temporarily". I know nothing more than that, on the subject -- not why it
was removed, not when it can be expected back.

In the meanwhile, if your need is urgent, there are freeware, shareware, and
Adobe's own Acrobat for generating .PDF files. I have an older copy of
Acrobat (v.3) and find it easy to use -- installs as a printer, and I just
choose it as the printer instead of a physical printer. If you shop around
and look at online auctions, you might find an even better deal on a back
version than the discount I got on that copy when it was current.

Hi,

additionally there is a freeware "virtual printer driver" at www.mabuse.de
<workling similar to the pdf-printers> which allows you to print each page as a
seperate image. This images can be converted (for example with freeware
www.irfanview.com) to jpg-files or other formats.
