And how do you send it? C'mon dude, give us adetailed questionhere. You
are not being changed by the letter. Don't be afraid to give us all the
facts.

How would you normally send one? Is it an email sent to a specific address?
Do you go into a website? If so, which one? What options does it require.

Give us something to work with if you want an answer.

I know it is possibility to send a message by internet to a mobile.

I need a code to fix this.

There are a number of different ways of doing this, and the code would
depend on which method you were using. There are hardware terminals you can
attach to your PC, there are services to which you upload a text file, and
there are services to which you send the message via e-mail. Most vendors
and service providers have sample code available.

I'm sure there are many other manufacturers and service providers, the
following list is just the ones I happen to know about ...

Hardware manufacturer:
Siemens www.siemens.com

Services:
iTouch www.itouch.co.uk
Clickatell www.clickatel.com

The spammers and script-kiddies have succeeded in making it impossible for
me to use a real e-mail address in public newsgroups. E-mail replies to
this post will be deleted without being read. Any e-mail claiming to be
from brenreyn at indigo dot ie that is not digitally signed by me with a
GlobalSign digital certificate is a forgery and should be deleted without
being read. Follow-up questions should in general be posted to the
newsgroup, but if you have a good reason to send me e-mail, you'll find
a useable e-mail address at the URL above.

Steve:

Obviously this question was well-worded and got a great deal of response.

Perhaps part of the confusion here may be due to the fact that SMS is *much*
more widely known and used in Europe (and in Japan, but probably called
something else there!) than in North America.
